Widgets Used on Challenge Module

The Challenge overview widget shows a list of active challenges. The purpose is to draw extra attention to The Challenge Module. The widget is often placed in the sidebar, so you can see the titles of the active challenges in one list overview.

In the Admin section, you can give the list a title and a description. You can also determine how many challenges will be shown.

The Challenge Word Cloud widget

The Challenge Word Cloud widget shows the most used words in The Challenge Module in the platform.

This widget has a content awareness. That means that the words which are shown in the widget are different from each other, depending on where the widget is placed. You can place the widget in the Challenge overview, then the widget will get its content from all the challenges. If you place the widget in a Challenge, it will get its content from that specific Challenge.

Don’t use spaces between the words you want to exclude from the word cloud, use commas instead. The widget will not exclude the words if space is placed before or after a word. You need The Challenge Module to be able to activate this widget.

The Challenge Ideas widget

The Challenge Ideas widget shows a list of randomly submitted ideas in The Challenge Module. The purpose is to draw extra attention to the Challenge module. It is also used to showcase the participation and creativity of other users.

This widget is often placed in the sidebar, where you can see the titles and images of random challenge ideas in one overview. You can also determine how many challenge ideas will be shown in the list.

The Top Challenge Participants widget

The Top Challenge Participants widget shows a list of the users with the most Challenge ideas. The purpose is to stimulate members to submit ideas in The Challenge Module. In the list, you see an overview of users in order of the number of challenge ideas submitted, with a picture, username, and the number of ideas.
